Lindsay Lynch is the author of the novel Do Tell, available now from Doubleday Books (US) and Hodder & Stoughton (UK). She grew up in the DC metropolitan area and attended Georgetown Day School. Lynch holds a BA in English and Studio Art from Kenyon College, and an MFA in Fiction from the University of Wyoming. Lynch was the recipient of several awards from the University of Wyoming, including the Promoting Intellectual Engagement in the First Year award, a student-nominated award given to university instructors who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, and the Sheila Langlois Memorial Fellowship for Study Abroad in Art History and the Humanities.

Lynch’s debut novel Do Tell is a USA Today bestseller, an Indie Next Pick, and a featured title on the Today Show with Hoda & Jenna. Her essays and short stories have appeared in The Adroit Journal, The Rumpus, Electric Lit, The Atlantic, The Offing and Lit Hub, among other places. She has been a participant in the Tin House Summer Workshop and a scholarship recipient in the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference.

A longtime indie bookseller, she has worked at Politics and and Prose in Washington D.C. and Parnassus Books in Nashville, TN, doing everything from social media to subscription management to her current position as the adult book buyer for Parnassus. Her dog, Barnabus, also works at Parnassus Books. In addition to her work as a book buyer, she frequently appears in the Laydown Diaries, a weekly recap of new releases from Parnassus.
